ABOUT OUR AGENCY

We are a locally owned and operated insurance agency in Cuyahoga Falls, OH servicing clients all over Ohio. For almost 2 decades we have provided and designed insurance plans for our dedicated clients. Specializing in “Employee Benefits”, “Medicare Health Plans”, “Individual Health Insurance”, and “Life Insurance” our team of licensed professionals is dedicated to helping our clients to achieve their goals of protecting themselves, their families and/or their employees. All of our employees are licensed insurance agents who are annually certified by the Department of Insurance, the insurance companies we represent and AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans). 

Kevin D. Kovach 

Principal Carriage Group Benefits

Kevin has been working in the insurance and investment industry since 2002, starting out as an employee for Consolidated Benefits Agency, Inc., in Akron. In 2010 he ventured on his own and started his current company, Carriage Group Benefits. Kevin is licensed in Health and Life, Property and Casualty as well as carrying his Series 6 License and is certified by AHIP to sell Medicare Insurance Products.

He is a graduate of Stow HS (Class of 1993) where he played baseball and basketball and then attended Oakland University (Class of 1998) as a basketball player with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. In the past he was a member of Leadership Stow (2005) and Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Stow High School (2001-2014). Currently he is Director of Stow Travel Basketball (Grades 3-6, boys and girls) and runs Team Clutch Ohio AAU Basketball Program.

Kevin, his wife Amy and daughter Kate, currently reside in Stow with their dog Jordan.

Shirley Hughes

I have been in the Insurance & Human Resources industry since 1990. I am licensed in both Health & Life along with being Individual Marketplace Certified. 

As an Account Manager providing superior customer service with every visit or phone call has always been my top priority. I strive daily to put my many years of experience to work for our clients and enjoy working with them and making them feel welcomed and respected. 

My husband, Greg, and I reside in Fairlawn, OH, have 2 sons and welcomed 2 daughters-in-law to our family in 2013. They have blessed us with 5 perfect grandchildren, who all reside in Columbus, OH. We are all die-hard Buckeye fans (OH-IO).  Go Bucks!

I enjoy baking for my church ministry to help feed the hungry and homeless, reading, walking, biking, and spending time with family, friends and our 2 Yorkies.
